Even the meerkats get the boot as consumers spurn brand Russia
Marketing experts say Russia’s international brand is on par with the Ebola virus, causing Western consumers to rethink where they spend their money and compounding pain for Vladimir Putin’s economy.
“It’s suddenly a lousy decade to be flogging anything from Beluga to Bolshoi,” said global marketer Toby Ralph. “Russia is becoming a byword for brutality, and their brands will be tarnished.”
