Peter Dutton declined to say how much electricity prices would fall under the Coalition’s gas plan, but pledged to release modelling before voters head to the polls supporting his claims prices would come down.
The Coalition’s gas policy dominated his first campaign press conference at the XXXX Brewery in Brisbane. A tour of the facility was interrupted when a climate protestor got within feet of the opposition leader before unveiling a sign saying “no new gas or nuclear”.
