Tasmania’s opposition leader says Premier Jeremy Rockliff’s deal to build a $715 million stadium in Hobart to secure a new AFL team in the state will have to be renegotiated whoever wins elections to be held on Saturday.
In a head-to-head televised debate, Labor leader Rebecca White said Mr Rockliff had failed to take the controversial plans to cabinet before signing on with AFL, and had failed to seek Treasury costings.
