Elizabeth Mamchak, the daughter of Sir Frederick Wheeler – one of the most powerful public servants in Australian history – has accused him of sexually abusing her throughout her childhood.
Ms Mamchak, speaking publicly about the abuse for the first time, told The Australian Financial Review the sexual abuse continued from the age of five to when she left school. Sir Frederick died in 1994.
