The coronavirus pandemic is threatening to spark social unrest, political fragmentation and geopolitical tensions, and set back global efforts to deal with major issues such as climate change, according to a landmark report.

And economic issues such as low global interest rate fuelled asset bubbles, prolonged stagnation, commodity shocks and debt crises, as well as major cyber security incidents, represent serious threats just over the horizon.
