Unravelling industrial relations laws that miners say will sap productivity will be a centrepiece of a specific policy package being tailored for Western Australia as the Coalition seeks to reclaim lost ground in its former stronghold.

The package will also seek to repair the potential damage in WA caused by the Coalition’s initial decision to oppose the government’s plan to provide production tax credits for extracting and processing critical minerals.
