Clive Palmer still plans to unleash millions of dollars during the upcoming election campaign despite the High Court ruling that candidates cannot run under the United Australia Party banner he bankrolls.

The court on Wednesday rejected Mr Palmer’s and UAP senator Ralph Babet’s challenge to the Australian Electoral Commission’s refusal to allow the party to be re-registered in time for the election, which is due to be held by May 17.
