Chalmers plans to modernise Future Fund

The next chairman of the $206 billion Future Fund will come from outside the organisation, and Treasurer Jim Chalmers is understood to be willing to delay an appointment to find the right leader.
This week, Dr Chalmers interviewed several candidates to replace outgoing chairman Peter Costello, as well as several others to fill two vacancies on the fund’s board of guardians.
