The federal budget has been reasonably well-received by voters but may not be enough to jump-start the government’s election campaign.
The first of a new election campaign series of Ipsos polls conducted exclusively for The Australian Financial Review finds last Tuesday’s budget, while positively received, was less so than the 2019 budget, which was also brought forward to act as a springboard for the election campaign.
