Former Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins will give in-person evidence in the trial of Bruce Lehrmann, the man accused of raping her inside Parliament House.

The trial, set to get under way in the ACT Supreme Court on October 4, will not be shown raw footage from a 2021 television interview in which Ms Higgins first aired allegations dating back to 2019, after ACT Director of Public Prosecutions Shane Drumgold told the court there was no “legal basis” for the footage to be shown.
