Shadow Transport Minister Bridget McKenzie has been forced to check with three airlines about whether she received multiple business class upgrades on domestic and international flights after originally claiming it had only happened once.

Sources familiar with Senator McKenzie’s travel, but not authorised to speak to the media, claimed she received upgrades as recently as this year from Qantas that were not disclosed on her parliamentary register of interests.
