London | Australia’s banking industry has called on the Albanese government to copy a British scheme that looks to ease the red-tape tangle by setting out a joined-up roadmap of future reforms and regulation.
British financial regulators are herded to a single table twice a year to create a “grid” that ensures their various reforms do not conflict, and do not arrive in a disorderly or overwhelming rush.
