High-risk violent offenders could face closer tracking in the community, as part of a push by state premiers for tough and immediate new responses to curb the country’s growing domestic violence scourge.

Better co-ordination of records documenting domestic violence cases, changes to bail laws to make it harder to get release and action to reduce misogynistic content spreading on social media are all expected to be discussed in a national cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
