Business is bracing for ongoing disruptions after more than a dozen pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested on Monday after blocking Melbourne’s docks, key roads and allegedly tampering with traffic lights.
Dozens of members of the Pro-Palestine group A15 Action gathered to block “the arteries of capitalism” including ports, train stations and CBDs across major Australian cities. Protests were also held in Brisbane, Tasmania, Wollongong, Sydney and Canberra.
