Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has had an impressive start to the top job, according to readers of The Australian Financial Review, with some describing his first few weeks in office as refreshing.

Nearly three-quarters (74 per cent) of Financial Review readers said Mr Albanese had had a good or very impressive start, while fewer than 10 per cent ranked his performance as poor or very poor, a poll of 641 readers shows.
