‘Alltoohardism’ supplants climate denial as obstacle to renewables
“Alltoohardism” has replaced climate change denialism as a key impediment to the transition to clean energy, Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen believes.
Addressing the National Press Club on Wednesday, Mr Bowen remained upbeat about achieving 82 per cent renewable energy generation by the end of the decade, which is integral to the government meeting its 2030 target of reducing emissions by 43 per cent over 2005 levels. Currently, about 40 per cent of the grid is renewable energy.
