Former prime minister John Howard has accused Anthony Albanese of failing to show leadership on antisemitism, joining two other Liberal leaders including Peter Dutton in their criticisms on the one-year anniversary of a terror attack in Israel that left 1200 Jews dead.
In an escalation of increasing domestic divide caused by the Hamas attacks and subsequent Israeli reprisals, Mr Howard said it was “time to condemn the failure of the Prime Minister to show leadership on this issue”.
