Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has pressed Australian golfing great Greg Norman for advice on dealing with Donald Trump, hours before the US President unveils his latest slate of global trade tariffs in Washington.

In Melbourne to campaign for the May 3 federal election, Albanese had a dinner discussion with Norman on Wednesday night.
