Rome | You can take the prime minister out of Marrickville, but you can’t take Marrickville out of the prime minister, even in Rome.

As Anthony Albanese toured the Sanctuary of our Lady of Pompeii, Australia’s national church in Rome, he explained to Archbishop of Sydney Anthony Fisher that while Vietnamese communities in Cabramatta tended to be Buddhist, those in Marrickville were Catholic.
