Albanese tries to shift blame on alleged attack by freed detainee
Anthony Albanese has sought to deflect blame to Western Australia’s bail system after a freed Kuwaiti-born immigration detainee allegedly robbed and bashed a Perth grandmother.
But adding to pressure on the federal government over its management of former detainees, police said on Tuesday a Sudanese man living in Melbourne was charged with breaching his visa conditions and tampering with his electronic monitoring device.
