Eltin needs a better second half

THE major mining contractor, Eltin Ltd is looking to an improved performance in the current half after its interim profit slipped due to a variety of operating problems.
Managing director Mr Nick Bowen said yesterday costs associated with the termination of Eltin's Australian gold operations and delays in the start-ups of two major contracts had hurt the bottom line.
