Former judge and corruption expert Anthony Whealy has taken aim at Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews, saying he should be condemned for not accepting that a report by the state’s anti-corruption agency was highly critical of his government.
Mr Whealy, a former judge of the NSW Court of Appeal who is also chairman of the Centre for Public Integrity, said the premier was wrong to say the report was simply “educational” and that in other states the conduct could be regarded as corrupt.
