Barilaro's failed koala rebellion about 'stability'

NSW Nationals leader John Barilaro says he never wanted to blow up the Coalition after he led a failed rebellion over laws protecting the state's koala population.

"We had to do what we had to do to bring it up on the agenda of the government and of the cabinet," Mr Barilaro told reporters in Sydney on Friday.
