Daniel Andrews has scored an internal victory, with seven members of Labor’s Right faction, including Treasurer Tim Pallas, joining his Socialist Left faction, while Strictly Ballroom star Paul Mercurio was confirmed on Friday as winning a seat for Labor in parliament.
Mr Pallas and six other members of the Right, including major events minister Steve Dimopoulos, joined the Socialist Left on Thursday following Labor’s third election victory in a row on November 26.
