The Australian Securities and Investments Commission is investigating multiple super fund trustees and listed companies for allegedly lying about their green credentials, as regulators crack down on greenwashing.
The push comes amid international evidence, cited by the competition regulator, that 40 per cent of environmental claims made by companies are false.
