Why people with cancer don’t get the full benefit of clinical trials

Australian researchers say regulators should mandate the requirement to share data.

Australian researchers are calling for the correction of a critical flaw in the way data from cancer trials is shared.

They say people often enrol in clinical trials knowing that while the trial may not personally benefit their cancer, they are contributing to improvements in care for someone else in the future.
