Russia would be an enigma and a stereotype to the rest of the world if it weren’t for the insight and understanding of people like the Australian diplomat, analyst and businessman.
Anyone who worked in or on Russia during the last three decades, be it in commerce, trade, journalism, diplomacy or analysis, sooner or later heard the name Glenn Waller.
And what they heard was that few if any non-Russians knew more about the country, had a better understanding of it, a finer mastery of its language or better access to its political top echelon than Waller.
