Geopolitical era is worse than a new cold war

The liberal toolkit didn’t just fail to change the dictators. It’s now being weaponised against the West.

As Joe Biden was touching down in the Middle East urging calm, the wanted war criminal Vladimir Putin was clinking glasses with his “dear friend” Xi Jinping in Beijing. It’s hard to think of a better visual to illustrate where the world is headed.

Except that anyone labelling this geopolitical era as a “new cold war” is wrong. Unfortunately, it’s something much worse.
