The peak Jewish body in NSW has called for a wider investigation into discrimination in healthcare after two nurses at Sydney’s Bankstown hospital were stood down for claiming they would refuse to treat and would kill Israeli patients.
Premier Chris Minns promised to investigate any “political messaging” that could undermine public confidence in the health system after a video of the pair sparked outrage online and a police referral.
