At the invitation of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Chinese Premier Li Qiang will pay an official visit to Australia from Saturday to Wednesday, and hold the ninth round of the China-Australia annual leaders’ meeting.
This is the first visit to Australia by China’s premier in seven years. It coincides with the 10th anniversary of President Xi Jinping’s successful state visit to Australia and the establishment of the China-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and is of great significance for the countries to reflect on past achievements and look into the future.
