Telstra puts industry groups on notice on climate

Telstra has put industry lobby groups on notice over their positions on climate change, following major Australian companies such as Westpac and Rio Tinto in promoting a shift to a more progressive stance on the issue.

In a blog published on Friday the telco giant’s chief sustainability officer Tim O’Leary revealed Telstra had begun “an alignment review of our key industry memberships in relation to climate change”.
