Woodside Energy chairman Richard Goyder says he will serve his final term if re-elected at an annual meeting on Wednesday, as he prepares to step down from the chairmanship of Qantas and plans begin to succeed him at the AFL.
Goyder is largely expected to survive a protest vote against his re-election at the meeting in Perth. But the energy giant’s climate plan is also expected to be rejected by more than 50 per cent of shareholders in another personal blow to his leadership.
