Bill Gates, Microsoft co-founder, formerly the world’s richest person, philanthropist, artificial intelligence enthusiast and climate change warrior, was in Australia this week talking about cows.

“You can either fix the cows … or you can make meat without the cow,” the multi-billionaire told a gathering at the Lowy Institute about the options for cutting bovine methane emissions that are making global warming worse.
