The attempted arson of a synagogue, a mob chanting “death to the IDF” while storming an Israeli restaurant, and the vandalism of an engineering firm with links to Israel’s military represents an appalling escalation of the verbal and physical attacks targeting Jewish individuals and businesses in Australia since the start of the Gaza war.
