I write to express my bemusement at recent comments by Sydney Airport chief executive Scott Charlton regarding Australia’s regulatory burden (“World’s shift: CEOs press for flexibility on IR”).
It is rather ironic – and perhaps the height of chutzpah – for the head of an enterprise that controls what is effectively a monopoly asset to decry regulation as if it were some undue hindrance imposed on a fledgling startup
