SA Liberals slide to minority government after ICAC charges

South Australia’s Liberal government has been plunged into minority after a country MP resigned from the Liberal Party following charges over alleged misuse of his travel allowance.

The state’s Independent Commissioner Against Corruption, Ann Vanstone, QC, said Fraser Ellis had been charged with 23 counts of deception for claims worth more than $18,000 over a two-year period until June 2020.
