Perth shakes off pandemic ‘ghost town’ tag

Perth’s CBD is at the forefront of Australian cities as they continue to recover from the hit to traditional working practices caused by the lockdowns early last year to combat COVID-19.
“Last March and early April, most office workers were operating from home,” said Marion Fulker, chief executive of the Committee for Perth. “The city was described as a bit of a ‘ghost town’.”
