There was a lot of passion at the ALP conference but the united and stable party never let get it too out control. Well almost.

Paddy Crumlin, the head of the militant maritime union, gave a particularly passionate address in an appearance that recalled his favourite joke, "I used to look like a Greek god; now I look like a goddamn Greek."
