Michael Stutchbury appointed to lead Centre for Independent Studies

Michael Stutchbury, the former editor-in-chief of The Australian Financial Review, has been appointed the next executive director of The Centre for Independent Studies, an influential think tank founded in 1976.

Stutchbury will succeed Tom Switzer, a former Liberal Party advisor, columnist and broadcaster. He has been the editor-at-large of the Financial Review since stepping down as editor-in-chief last year.
