Housing finance drops 5.6pc in November
The number of commitments for owner-occupied dwellings fell a seasonally-adjusted 5.6 per cent in November to 59,516, the Australian Bureau of Statistics reported.

The number of commitments for owner-occupied dwellings fell a seasonally-adjusted 5.6 per cent in November to 59,516, the Australian Bureau of Statistics reported.
The fall was far greater than the 0.5 per cent drop a Bloomberg consensus forecast had predicted, and larger than the revised figure of a 1.9 per cent decline for October.
