No, Richard Goyder, people are not “weary of being told what to do by governments” (“Bumpy Trump era can be boom years”). The public is tired of being told by companies like Qantas, where you presided as chairman for more than a decade, that airline tickets are merely “a bundle of rights”.
Australians are also weary of “Woodside’s climate-wrecking oil and gas expansion plans” (as noted by Market Forces, an NGO that tracks environmentally sustainable behaviour in the finance world).
