On Friday over lunch, Treasurer Jim Chalmers hosted the guardians of Australia’s largest pools of capital.

The big bank chief executives and super fund chief investment officers were summoned to Canberra to explore how the trillions of dollars under their control could be better guided toward issues of national interest.
