A horror movie obsession is not worth screaming about

Mark LawsonOpinion Deputy EditorFor those who watch monster/horror films, and in belated honour of the passing of horror movie master Wes Craven in August, here's a pop quiz that might strike a chord.
You are alone and unarmed doing some minor repairs outside the gate of a major, electrified fence that you know has been built to keep in 10-metre-plus crocodiles. Earlier that day you had seen one of these monsters chase a truck through the gate. Yes, I know crocodiles won't stray far from water, let alone chase a truck no matter how big they have grown, but this is a horror film, go with it. You hear shots and screams for help on the other side of the fence, but it has become dark and you can't see anyone.
