NAB digs in after counsel assisting finds 'disregard' for regulators, law

National Australia Bank will fight damning findings by counsel assisting the banking royal commission that its behaviour was "ethically unsound" and demonstrated a disregard for superannuation fund members, regulators and the law.

NAB was on Sunday standing by senior executive Andrew Hagger, whose handling of fee for no service issues displayed a "disrespect for the role of the regulator and a disregard for the gravity of the events in question".
