Washington |  US Treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin is being pressed to investigate Melbourne-based Jervois Mining for any links to China that would disqualify the cobalt miner's planned acquisition of an Idaho project.

Former Idaho governor Butch Otter is demanding an investigation into a proposed merger between Jervois and Vancouver-based eCobalt Solutions because it could link Chinese money to the only known cobalt deposit in the US.
