The Australian Financial Review on Monday publishes an account of an investment by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and his family in a venture that went sour, and buffeted a relationship between two of New South Wales' most senior Liberals.

Awkwardness between Turnbull and former NSW Premier Nick Greiner regarding the oversight of a sports media company, PlayUp (Revo), in which Turnbull and Partners had invested $1.2million is one aspect of a failed business deal.
