Porter rewrites Setka bill to 'test' Labor

The federal government has increased pressure on Labor to support legislation cracking down on rogue trade unions and officials by substantially rewriting old legislation to meet the Opposition's concerns.
As promised after Anthony Albanese moved to expel CFMMEU official John Setka from the ALP, the government introduced into Parliament on Tuesday the Ensuring Integrity Bill.
