Australian dollar quiet as other commodity currencies swing

The Australian dollar steadied on Wednesday, enjoying the last of the glow from gains on the previous day's Reserve Bank of Australia minutes, while other commodity currencies had a volatile session.
The local currency continued its rise overnight on Tuesday on the back of the RBA October meeting minutes which indicated there were no immediate plans to move on interest rates.
