ASX to dip as ‘gravity-defying’ bull run hits US reporting season

The Australian sharemarket is set to dip as traders brace for a key week in the US reporting season, which will reveal whether earnings from the likes of Intel and Tesla can satisfy investors and continue a gravity-defying bull run.

Futures for the S&P/ASX 200 Index suggest a softer start to the week, pointing down 8 points, 0.1 per cent, to 9002 and extending Friday’s modest sell down after the local bourse reset record highs the day before.
