Last week’s Nature Positive Summit in Sydney is to be applauded for, if nothing else, prioritising progress over the pursuit of perfection when it comes to regulating the biodiversity market.
While the cynic is quick to liken these efforts to rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, it’s important to remember that roughly half of Australia’s gross domestic product depends on nature and its health. So, we all have a vested interest in navigating around the icebergs to keep this ship afloat.
